Hit Your Drives Dead Straight More Consistently!

Hit Your Drives Dead Straight More Consistently!

You could use all kinds of different golf swing methods and have decent results when it comes to accuracy. I prefer the Mike Austin swing method because I get big time distance with no sacrifice in accuracy.

But no matter which type of swing you use, or even your own style, you must have 3 basic principles in order to hit the ball straight consistently.

First, you've got to have a straight (or at least fairly straight CLUB PATH.

Second, you need to control the clubface so that it is square to your intended line of flight at the moment of impact.

And third, you must hit the ball directly (or very close) in the sweet spot in the center of the clubface.

These are irrefutable laws of physics that apply to the collision between the golf ball and the driver. I could do more videos on other aspects of being accurate off the tee but these are the most important principles because they are universal to every swing.

You do not need to be exactly perfect with any of these three factors to consistently hit it in the fairway. Instead you've got to fall in a fairly small range. The further you drive the ball, the tighter the tolerances get.
